(Ch. Catalina's Felix to the Max x Arayl's Whoopdewoo) 'Dede' is a Canaan Dog who thinks she's a Pembroke Welsh Corgi! She was born in June, 1999 and was bred by Carol O'Bryan in California. Carrie wanted the corgis to have a bigger friend and selected a Canaan because of their intelligence, athleticism and ease of care. Canaan Dogs are shown in the Herding Group as are corgis. 'Dede' has 3 majors and two minor points towards her championship. She was Best in Sweepstakes at the 2000 Canaan Dog Club of America National Specialty under judge Mrs. Corky Gauger and Reserve Winners Bitch under judge Dr. Carmen Battaglia. 'Dede' loves the show ring and Carrie hopes to have her out as a special in the future.
